If You’re Already a Fan of Granita di Caffe, Limone and Arancia…

Try granita made from dessert wine. Just dilute it a bit with fruit juice to reduce the alcohol level so that it will freeze well.  Combine unsweetened black cherry juice with Bouquet Red Dessert Wine and unsweetened white grape juice with Bouquet White Dessert Wine. Use shallow aluminum pans from the supermarket to hold the liquids and stir them with a fork every 20 minutes while they freeze. After two hours, you’ll have a tasty, refreshing dessert or palate cleanser with pizzazz! (Thanks to Alicia V. for the inspiration!)
