Lisa Donneson launched Bouké (dry) and Bouquet (sweet) wines after a long career on Wall Street. She decided that Long Island needed a fine wine to call its own and gathered together grapes from the North Fork and joined forces with French winemaker Gilles Martin to create a series of aromatic blends.
Lisa turned her wine sipping skills into a diploma when she attended the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. After a long career of sipping fine wines, she decided to launch her own winery.
Lisa lives in Brooklyn New York with her husband, two college-bound daughters and collection of bicycles and bike equipment. When not sipping wine, Lisa can most likely be found riding her bike and ignoring her violin and banjo.
